Kara Eastman is in Washington today attending a fundraiser thrown for her by the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, who calls her a “Bold Progressive.”

Here’s what that means:

She favors no restrictions on abortion – including late-term abortion and using taxpayer dollars to pay for it
She has proposed rewriting the Second Amendment to restrict the rights of law-abiding gun owners
She favors a return to the income tax rates of the 1950’s, including a 90% tax rate for many Americans
She endorsed a $32 trillion tax hike for government-run single payer healthcare

Notably, while the PCCC is backing Eastman’s candidacy, the DCCC – or the official campaign arm of House Democrats – has still refused to endorse Eastman two months after she took out the establishment-favored Brad Ashford in the Democratic primary.
