We’ve said all along that Anthony Brindisi is trying to bring Andrew Cuomo’s liberal New York City values to NY-22. Over the weekend, more evidence came to light.

According to a new report from New York Daily News, Cuomo is investing more money in Brindisi’s campaign. That’s in addition to the fundraiser they recently held together.

Given their close relationship, it’s important to remember that Brindisi championed Cuomo’s agenda in the State Assembly:

• Brindisi pushed for up to $585 million in taxpayer funding for Cuomo’s Nano Utica program
• It failed to deliver the jobs promised, and a top Cuomo aide was just found guilty for orchestrating a bid-rigging scheme
• Brindisi said Nano Utica was an example of what could be accomplished with Cuomo’s support

Anthony Brindisi and Andrew Cuomo are pushing the same far-left agenda, so it’s no wonder Cuomo is working overtime to get him elected.
