Just over two weeks as the KS-03 Democrat nominee and Sharice Davids has already backed herself into a corner on the issue of abolishing ICE.

July 21, 2018: When asked if she supported abolishing ICE, Davids said: “You asked me about defunding, which I think is probably essentially the same thing. But yeah.”

August 22, 2018: Davids’ campaign: “Sharice does not support abolishing ICE.”

August 23, 2018: Davids: “Let me be clear, I do not support abolishing ICE.”

Is this ignorance? Or just a move out of blatant political expediency? Either way, it’s not a great start for Davids.
