Ann Kirkpatrick should denounce these negative ads
The Arizona Republic is calling on her to.
The Republic’s Elvia Diaz writes: “a lot of the blame is squarely on Democrat Ann Kirkpatrick… she should have strongly advocated for a cease-fire on her behalf.”
But she didn’t. Amazingly, Ann declined to comment on the DCCC’s negative ads benefiting her that were playing during Senator McCain’s funeral in Phoenix yesterday.
Republic columnist Laurie Roberts piles on: “running an attack ad against the Republican nominee Lea Marquez Peterson while she was attending Sen. John McCain’s funeral is not only tacky. It’s shameful.”
Now that Ann is being publicly shamed for initially refusing to denounce these negative ads during Senator McCain’s funeral, will she cave to pressure and denounce them now?
