Lisa Brown, currently under fire for writing her Ph.D. thesis on being “inspired” by socialists, communists, and anarchists, has a new problem to contend with.

Brown bragged in March that while teaching economics in Nicaragua under the democratic socialist Sandinista regime, she “worked in opposition to US policy.”
Although Ortega lost the 1990 election while Lisa was residing in Nicaragua, he finally became president in 2017 – and has run the country’s economy into the ground so badly, citizens are taking to the streets to call for Ortega to step down.
Brown is still refusing to answer questions about her troubling ties to far-left leaders and ideas.
“The tangled web of ties between Lisa Brown and radical left-wing figures continues coming into focus. Lisa’s refusal to address her comments speaks volumes about the chasm between what she really believes, and the carefully-crafted façade she’s hawking to Washington voters.” -NRCC Spokesman Jack Pandol
