I am definitely not going to do what I said I’d do

Katie Hill in public? Conflicted. Katie Hill in private? Mind made up.

That’s the first-time candidate’s take on Nancy Pelosi, after letting slip she will almost assuredly vote for Pelosi in comments to the Washington Examiner.

Now, Katie is currently engaged in a furious walkback effort to maintain the carefully-crafted “undecided” stance on whether she’ll support the San Francisco liberal for Speaker.

Hill, one week ago: “[Pelosi] has got more done than anyone. I don’t see somebody who is in a position, or is prepared to jump in and immediately start getting the stuff done that needs to happen.”

Hill, yesterday: “It’s not something I’m going to commit to while I’m still running this race.”

Katie may be too afraid to make her decision known to the families she’s running to represent, but her comments show her mind is already made up. It’s a shame someone who claims she’s “not a politician” is so willing to withhold the truth to protect her own political skin.
