is Politifact even trying anymore?

In the midst of Buzzfeed’s war on Robert Mueller and liberal commentators calling for the deaths of Catholic schoolchildren, you may have missed another controversy brewing on conservative Twitter, as the internet was once again dunking on Politifact for a bizarrely inaccurate “fact check.”

The liberal activists at Politifact, led by Democrat Executive Director Aaron Sharockman and Editor Angie Holan, apparently ran out of high fives to “fact check” and in response to President Trump’s proposal to end the shutdown, decided to tweet out an old “fact check” on whether Democrats reversed their past support for border walls because of President Trump.

Now, as actual journalists at the Washington Post already wrote, this is indisputably correct. In fact, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer have voted for billions of dollars in wall funding before coming to their new anti-wall position. But Politifact predictably decided the statement was “Mostly False” because ¯_(ツ)_/¯.
