Katie Hill still wants to eliminate your health insurance
Hi!
California Congresswoman Katie Hill last week reiterated her support to eliminate private health insurers in favor of socialized healthcare.
This on the heels of Katie’s glowing endorsement of Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign just a day after Harris promised to kick every American family off of their private or employer-based health care plan.
When New York Magazine asked Congresswoman Katie Hill if she still believed in Medicare for All, her office responded: “Katie believes that Medicare for All is a system we should be striving towards. Getting it right will require infrastructure and investment. Katie supports creating that infrastructure so that when the time comes that it makes sense to implement Medicare for All, it has the tools to succeed.”
A couple questions for Katie:
- What type of infrastructure and investment will it take to make Medicare For All happen?
- What’s it going to cost and who’s going to pay for it?
- What if you like your current health insurance and want to keep it?
NRCC comment: “Katie Hill is set on eliminating private health insurance and enacting Medicare For All. California’s taxes are already among the highest in the nation. Is Katie going to support another tax increase on Californians to pay for Medicare For All?” – NRCC Spokeswoman Torunn Sinclair
