Arizona Democrats are playing politics with the Violence Against Women Act

The Violence Against Women Act is specifically important to tribal communities.

Both Ann Kirkpatrick and Tom O’Halleran know this – Tom O’Halleran even wrote an op-ed about it – but now they’re refusing to support an extension of the VAWA.

Why? They’re playing political games instead of standing up for the abused women (including thousands of tribal women) in Arizona.
