WaPo silent on Fairfax donations

It’s been 14 days since we drew attention to campaign donations Reps. Elaine Luria, Abigail Spanberger, and Jennifer Wexton accepted from Justin Fairfax, who they believe is a rapist.

But so far, there has been no Washington Post story. This is strange since WaPo wasted no time writing an article when Jennifer Wexton demanded Republican Congresswoman Barbara Comstock give back Patrick Meehan’s donations.

In fact, the very same day Jennifer Wexton called on Comstock to return Meehan’s money, WaPo wrote about it and THEN the paper wrote a follow-up story. They even followed the DCCC’s lead on this.

What’s the holdup this time?

Does WaPo’s partisan and journalistic objectivity die in the darkness?
