Newsom killed TJ’s choo choo train

California Governor Gavin Newsom may be in Washington, D.C. this week, but don’t expect him to lobby for TJ Cox’s high speed rail pipe dream.

TJ Cox thinks high speed rail is an “important component” of Congress’ infrastructure plans and would support a bill that throws billions of dollars at the project.

Cox’s fantasy was effectively derailed when ultra-liberal Newsom even said it was a bad idea.

Will TJ Cox talk with Newsom about high speed rail while Newsom’s in D.C.? Or is this the end of the line for TJ Cox’s choo choo train?
