Dean Phillips disses his district

March 22, 2019

Dean Phillips hosted a “Happy Hour” this week, billed as an opportunity to “join Dean as he gives an update on D.C. and listens to what’s on the minds of Minnesotans!” Apparently, though, Dean doesn’t really care much about what’s on the mind of the folks he’s supposed to be representing, as he held the event outside of CD3 in St. Paul.

And his constituents are anything but happy. Here are just a few of their reactions:

“… why on Earth is the event in St. Paul? All of your constituents are on the other side of the cities. For those of us who work, it’s unrealistic to drive through 2 hours of rush hour to go to this event.”

“I think we have a few spots to have a beer in CD3. Why not support local business?”

Yikes!

Maybe Dean’s too busy trying to sell his million dollar mansion in Minneapolis to know where exactly his district is, or maybe he’d rather dodge his constituents by speaking in a district more friendly to his socialist agenda…
