Casten: “What voters think should not matter”
June 20, 2019
After campaigning on his commitment to save the planet, “fight for affordable health care,” and “get things done for Illinois families,” Sean Casten announced he’s decided to spend the rest of his term pursuing baseless impeachment.
Casten confessed on MSNBC that impeachment is “not a top issue for voters” but qualified his decision with, “what the voters think should not matter.”
That’s in direct contrast to what he pledged on the campaign trail: “Sean will listen to those he is elected to represent.”
