NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer Statement on DCCC Meddling In Impeachment Process

WASHINGTON – NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer today released the following statement on the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) meddling in the official impeachment hearings against President Donald Trump:

“It’s quite ironic to see House Democrats so openly politicize the legislative branch of the federal government in these sham impeachment proceedings with poll-tested verbiage from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. It is also completely inappropriate. 

“This is another nail in the coffin of a socialist Democrat majority hellbent on throwing our country into a constitutional crisis without fact or merit because they cannot accept the fact that President Trump won the 2016 election.

“Make no mistake about it – Democrats will lose the House next November over this unhealthy impeachment obsession.”

According to The Washington Post, Democrats have ceased accusing President Trump of engaging in a quid-pro-quo and are now accusing him of engaging in bribery “after the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee conducted focus groups in key House battlegrounds in recent weeks, testing messages related to impeachment.”
