Bustos blacklists primary challenger

Cheri “Beltway” Bustos kicked her primary opponent, Spanky Edwards, off the ballot for 2020.

This isn’t surprising, since Bustos runs the DCCC that’s blacklist policy is designed to rid incumbents of primary challengers and has also been criticized for “discouraging women and people of color to run for office.”

However given Bustos’ track record of infuriating her far-left base, maybe they’ve had enough and this won’t be the end of Edwards’ challenge…
