Mucarsel-Powell’s false Iran claim

What is Debbie Mucarsel-Powell talking about?

This weekend she went on TV and claimed she talks to veterans who are very young and were stationed in Iran (at 2:30).

But the U.S. hasn’t had formal diplomatic relations or troops in Iran since 1980—40 years ago after a hostage crisis.

Perhaps if Debbie Murcarsel-Powell focused on issues other than removing the President from office she would know this bit of history.
