NY Dems silent on Green Light Law

The Department of Homeland Security yesterday announced a ban on New York residents enrolling in certain Trusted Traveler Programs due to the state’s new “Green Light Law ,”which allows undocumented immigrants to obtain NYS driver’s licenses and foreign passports.

The law, which Max Rose, Sean Patrick Maloney, Antonio Delgado and Anthony Brindisi have all refused to speak out on, also blocks agencies like ICE and CBP from gaining access to the state’s DMV databases without a court order.
