Mike Siegel’s bonkers basement broadcast

Austin socialist Mike Siegel really seems to be losing it in quarantine, and last night he went off the deep end in a basement broadcast for a half dozen of his closest supporters.

On the livestream, Siegel proposed a socialist agenda that would make Karl Marx blush, calling for:

• Protests of ICE agents during the coronavirus crisis
• Passage of the Green New Deal as part of coronavirus response (which would put hundreds of thousands of Texas energy workers out of business)
• Medicare for all (which would ban employer-provided health insurance)
• A jobs guarantee from the federal reserve (?)
• A federal housing guarantee
• Nationalization of internet companies
