Shalala should resign from panel

Last night, the Miami Herald reported Donna Shalala violated federal law by failing to disclose stock sales she made while serving in Congress.

Shalala is the only House Democrat appointed to the coronavirus oversight panel that will oversee $500 billion in taxpayer money for coronavirus relief.

Today, in an interview (at 1:08) Shalala admits she willfully violated that law saying “look I knew what the law was…”

 Someone who willfully violated federal law should not be overseeing billions of taxpayer dollars. It’s that simple.
