Porter breaks her oath of office
Katie Porter is already taking advantage of House Democrats’ proxy voting scheme to avoid showing up for work this week, even though she thinks it’s unconstitutional.
Porter said during a town hall that: It is not my preferred alternative. I have concerns about it. I think it’s less constitutionally -the less firm constitutional ground -than some other methods.”
Voters of California’s 45th Congressional District elected Porter, and put their trust and faith in her to represent them in Congress and uphold the constitution, but Katie has decided she can best represent CA-45 from her couch at home.
What a slap in the face to frontline workers.
If Porter has issues with the constitutionality of proxy voting, why on earth did she vote for it?
