Do CA Dems support AB5 ballot initiative?

In case you missed it, Joe Biden wasted no time telling California voters to uphold Assembly Bill 5 as it currently stands and vote “no” on the newly-qualified AB5 ballot initiative in November.

Assembly Bill 5 is a new California law which could devastate the gig economy in California, lower wages for working people, and threatens thousands of Californians’ jobs (just ask Vox!). 

Will TJ Cox, Gil Cisneros, Katie Porter, Harley Rouda and Mike Levin weigh in on the ballot initiative too? After all, they voted for the Pro Act, the federal version of Assembly Bill 5 which basically ripped language right from the California legislation.
