NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer Statement on the IA-02 Primary Election

WASHINGTON – NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer released the following statement regarding the results of the IA-02 primary election:

“Dr. Mariannette Miller-Meeks has dedicated herself to serving our country, from her long career in the U.S. Army to her time at the Iowa Department of Public Health and the state senate, and I congratulate her on tonight’s primary win. Rita Hart was already rejected by Iowa voters for her support of dangerous socialist ideas like sanctuary cities and this November will be no different.”
