NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer Statement on the GA-06 Primary Election

WASHINGTON – NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer released the following statement regarding the results of the GA-06 primary election:

“Congratulations to Karen Handel on her big primary victory. Karen is a proven leader who will represent Georgians, not DC special interests, and will fight back against the extreme socialist agenda of House Democrats.

“Lucy McBath is a typical politician who repeatedly lies to her constituents and puts the DC special interests before them. We will fight tooth and nail to expose McBath as a two-faced politician who cannot be trusted to serve in Congress.  

“I look forward to welcoming Karen back to Congress in November.”
