Will Rouda explain the racist “Mekong Delta” parties?

Harley Rouda – who tweets a lot about racism – attended racist, anti-veteran “Mekong Delta” frat parties while in Delta Tau Delta at the University of Kentucky. 

Michelle Steel, Rouda’s opponent, has called on Rouda to explain himself and apologize.

Rouda did not respond to California Globe’s request for comment, nor has he responded to Steel’s calls for an explanation and apology. 

Letters to the editor from Rouda’s time in the fraternity described the party as “students who sat out the war on deferments, now celebrate a human slaughter with a beer blast.” 

Another letter to the editor said Delta Tau Delta throwing a “Dachau or Auschwitz party might be more appropriate for the coming social season.”
