Axne skipping work, hands her vote to MD liberal

House Democrats have only been rarely showing up to do the country’s business lately, but apparently these rare meetings are too much for Cindy Axne.

Axne decided to skip work today as the House votes on police reform, and instead submitted a proxy letter handing her vote to Maryland liberal Rep. Jamie Raskin.

So where’s Cindy and why is she handing Iowans’ vote in Congress over to a Marylander?
