What does China have on Haley Stevens?

Haley Stevens likes to talk a big game when it comes to getting tough on China. (See here, here and here.)

But today Stevens proved she’s all talk and no action.

In a resolution on the House floor, Republicans tried to hold the Chinese Communist Party accountable for recently carrying out cyber-attacks targeting U.S. intellectual property and COVID-19 research, but Stevens blocked the vote.

Doesn’t Stevens think China already caused us enough problems with the coronavirus? 

Is she being blackmailed by the Chinese Communist Party?
