What does China have on Tom Malinowski?

Tom Malinowski likes to talk a big game when it comes to getting tough on China, recently penning an op-ed dedicated to the topic.

But today Malinowski proved he’s all talk and no action.

In a resolution on the House floor, Republicans tried to hold the Chinese Communist Party accountable for recently carrying out cyber-attacks targeting U.S. intellectual property and COVID-19 research, but Malinowski blocked the vote.

Doesn’t Malinowski think China already caused us enough problems with the coronavirus? 

Is he being blackmailed by the Chinese Communist Party?
