Why won’t Comrade Kara address Defund the Police?

In an Omaha World Herald story on police reform, Comrade Kara Eastman wouldn’t give a straight answer on her stance on defunding the police.

But Comrade Kara echoed the priorities of Defund the Police activists, saying she would steer funds to mental health, social workers, education and health care, leaving out where those funds should be redirected from.

So where exactly does Comrade Kara stand on Defund the Police?
