Christy’s new campaign team steps in it

July 10, 2020

It wasn’t even two weeks ago Christy Smith was bragging to the National Journal about her new campaign team.  Smith said she fired the old one and blamed a combination of the old team and Katie Hill for why she lost the CA-25 May 12 special election.

Smith even put out a fundraising email hyping her new field director.

Well, it turns out Christy’s new field director – who tweeted that there’s no such thing as a good cop and wants to disband the military – isn’t a huge fan of the voters in CA-25.

CA-25 is a “bedroom community of police and firefighters.” It’s also home to a huge aerospace and defense community creating thousands of jobs. A former CA-25 congressman was even chair of House Armed Services.

Not sure how Christy’s new field director, whose job entails recruiting volunteers to help Christy, is going to do her job if she can’t stand CA-25 voters!

What a team, Christy!
