NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer Statement on the MI-03 Primary Election

WASHINGTON – NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer released the following statement regarding the results of the MI-03 primary election:

“Congratulations to Peter Meijer on his primary victory. For too long, Michigan families in this conservative district have gone without real representation in Congress, but that will change in November. Hillary Scholten’s support for radical socialist policies like eliminating private health insurance and forcing families to pay for a $93 trillion Green New Deal render her completely unelectable. I look forward to working with Peter Meijer in Congress.”
