Austin City Council sabotages Dem House candidates

The Austin City Council officially brought the Defund the Police movement to Texas yesterday, slashing its police budget by a third and sacrificing public safety on the altar of woke politics.

Democrats running for Congress will have to answer for the Council’s lunacy.

Crazy Mike Siegel has long been at the forefront of radical anti-cop politics, signing on to a pledge to refuse to take donations from police officers and endorsing activists’ call to replace police with social workers as first responders.

And Wendy Davis and Donna Imam have refused to comment on Austin’s effort to defund the police.

These Austin-area Dems must speak up and tell voters where they stand on Austin’s impending public safety disaster.
