Bourdeaux lies to Georgians about campaign cash

At a virtual event, Carolyn Bourdeaux flat out lied about where her campaign’s money is coming from.

She claims, “I had more Georgian donors than all of my Democratic and Republican counterparts combined…He [Rich McCormick] doesn’t have any donors that are local or even from Georgia.”

False. Rich McCormick actually has a higher percentage of Georgia donors than Carolyn.

But the lying doesn’t stop there. She also says, “He has a massive set of hedge fund managers who are backing him.”

The truth is Carolyn has taken about seven times as much money from the securities and investment industry as McCormick.
