Jared Golden’s Fake News Backers

A new report revealed that Jared Golden has benefited from $50,000 in fake news stories lying to ME-02 voters.

Golden claims he’s “disavowed the stories and ads, and criticized the dark money sources behind the effort,” but the reality is far different.

In 2018, Golden benefited from more than $2.27 million in dark money advertising, making him the leading recipient of dark money from Patriot Majority.
