SUBJECT: OK-05 PRIMARY RUNOFF RESULTS

OK-05: Kendra Horn (D) vs. Stephanie Bice (R)

Kendra Horn was able to skate through the 2018 election in a Trump +14 district while facing no scrutiny of her liberal platform and emerging as a surprise winner. That will not be the case in 2020.

The NRCC has already committed $725,000 to Oklahoma City for advertising, and CLF has already begun a TV advertising campaign highlighting Horn’s record of voting with Nancy Pelosi and the socialist squad nearly 90% of the time. Voters will be familiar with Horn’s out-of-step, liberal record when they vote this fall.

Stephanie Bice has a record of delivering conservative solutions for Oklahomans. She will be a far better fit for this R+10 district.

PVI: R+10

2016 Presidential Results: Trump 53.3% – Clinton 39.7%

Ratings: Cook Political Report – Toss Up; Inside Elections – Toss Up

Geography: The district includes most of Oklahoma County, including Oklahoma City, as well as Pottawatomie and Seminole Counties. It is entirely within the Oklahoma City DMA.
