Axne gaslights on flood response

Cindy Axne is really straining to change history in her latest ad, touting her response during last year’s flood.

The ad talks about Axne’s work across the aisle to provide “immediate relief,” but in reality, Axne was silent as her fellow Democrats delayed that much needed relief and blocked Senator Grassley’s bill.

And where was Axne when Vice President Pence came to the 3^rd District to survey the flood damage? At a House Democrat retreat with John Legend and Chrissy Teigen.

If Axne wanted to politicize her flood response, maybe she should have actually responded in the first place.
