Why does Carolyn Long always blame staff?

What’s with Carolyn Long always blaming her staff when she messes up? 

Earlier this week, Long herself relayed to a volunteer that she would have voted for the HEROES Act, House Democrats’ COVID relief bill. 

That volunteer passed along the information to a voter. 

Now, Long is making the volunteer say that never happened (and saying she doesn’t support the HEROES Act). 

But if Long never supported the HEROES Act, how come it has taken FOUR MONTHS since the bill passed for her to say so?  HINT: It’s because she does support it. 

And this isn’t even the first time this year Long’s made her staff take the blame for her campaign screwups!
