O’Halleran gets no support from primary challenger

It doesn’t look like Tom O’Halleran will be getting the support of his former primary challenger, Eva Putzova, any time soon.

Putzova won more than 41% of the vote in the Democrat primary, including winning Coconino County which is home to one of AZ-01’s largest cities, Flagstaff.

When Putzova learned O’Halleran was investing in mining companies which had abandoned more than 75 uranium mines on the Navajo Nation, Putzova responded in a tweet, “why am I not surprised.” In a follow-up tweet Putzova responded again, “Sorry, #AZ01, maybe next time.”
