“Profits over the right to fundamental health care”

October 5, 2020

In case you missed it, the Washington Free Beacon reported last week that Harley Rouda stripped his employees of their health care coverage after taking over his father’s business in 2012.

The article included a former employee’s experience and documentation proving no insurance was provided.

If Rouda believes “profits over the fundamental right to health care creates a pervasive division between haves and have nots” then why did he strip his employees (including those with preexisting conditions) of their health insurance while he and his executive team kept their insurance?
