New DCCC chair disparages Rep. Issa’s service

New Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chair Sean Patrick Maloney took to San Diego TV last week to disparage Congressman Issa’s military service. 

Maloney – who did not serve – told Politically Speaking that the DCCC would look to recruit a Democrat against Issa who “cares about our country, maybe someone with a military background in San Diego who wants to step up and serve,” insinuating Issa doesn’t care about our country and didn’t serve. 

Not a great look in a district with a large veteran population.

Hopefully, next time Maloney and the A+ team at the DCCC agree to an interview they’ll research California’s 50^th Congressional District before insulting a huge segment of its population.
