Sean Patrick Maloney disparages Republican Congressman’s military service
In his new role as Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chair, Sean Patrick Maloney went on San Diego TV last week to disparage Rep. Darrell Issa’s military service.
Despite having no military background himself, Maloney said the DCCC would aim to recruit a Democrat to run against Issa who cares “about our country, maybe someone with a military background who wants to step up and serve,” insinuating Issa doesn’t care about our country and didn’t serve.
Considering West Point lies in his own congressional district, you would think Sean Patrick Maloney would do his research before disrespecting a veteran who represents a district with a large veteran population.
Clearly, Maloney is willing to ignore the facts and belittle someone’s military service if it scores him points at the DCCC.
