Cori Bush praises violent criminals

February 8, 2021

This weekend 115 violent felons took control of the fourth floor of the City Justice Center prison in St. Louis where they set fires and injured a prison guard.

According to St. Louis director of public safety, Jimmie Edwards, the prisoners in the Justice Center are “very violent people,” and “no one at the Justice Center is housed for a misdemeanor, a municipal offense or a low-level felony. Everybody housed at the Justice Center is housed there because of very serious offenses like assault on police officers and homicide and things of that sort.”

But that doesn’t matter to Representative Cori Bush, who is standing with these violent felons. She even released a statement blasting the prison and falsely claiming many of these violent felons were “simply being held because they cannot afford bail.”

Will any Democrats disavow Bush for her dangerous actions?

The new rules of Washington dictate that every member of Congress must answer for controversial statements made by freshman members, right?
