Virginia Parent: “Teachers’ unions are the obstacle”
Parents are angry their kids aren’t back in school, and Democrats still aren’t doing a thing about it.
Why?
Because Democrats are following the money, not the science.
Democrats even voted against including dedicated vaccine funding for teachers in the COVID package.

“Parents have been concerned for quite some time about the endlessly moving goal posts about reopening,” said Karen Vaites of Manhattan, whose daughter is in third grade. She called it “ridiculous” to have a reopening goal that’s likely already met.

“My kids are straight A students and struggling to keep B grades or doing less. They are not motivated and depressed,” said a father from Chesapeake, in southeastern Virginia, who participated in the session. Some parents are beginning to view teachers unions as the problem. “They are a complete obstacle,” a mother from Fairfax, in Northern Virginia, near Washington, D.C., offered. “No preventative measures will be good enough for the unions.”
