DCCC meltdown 2.0?
It’s been over 24 hours since news broke that new DCCC Senior Advisor Dyjuan Tatro called Capitol Police white supremacists and praised looting as a vital form of social protest, but the DCCC and Sean Patrick Maloney have remained silent on Tatro’s disturbing rhetoric.
Unfortunately for them, that strategy doesn’t seem to be working and there are now entire cable news segments being devoted to Tatro’s comments:
If Tatro’s comments weren’t causing enough headaches, multiple House Democrats went on the record this morning to slam the DCCC’s plan to hold their majority.
House Democrats say the DCCC’s strategy made them feel “uncomfortable” and “culpable” in amplifying dangerous conspiracy theories.
The DCCC refused to comment on that as well, but at this point, it’s clear: House Dems are in disarray.
