Politico: ‘Recipe for disaster’: Dem fears mount over immigration overhaul
House Democrats in Texas are sounding the alarm on Joe Biden’s lax immigrationpolicies because they know it will cost them reelection.
And it’s not likely to get better for them as socialist Democrats in Congress push for more progressive immigration policies.
Will these Democrats actually stand up to their caucus and President Biden? Or will they continue to be all talk and no action?
REMINDER: These Texas Democrats have done nothing as ICE officials are calling out Biden’s new immigration policy saying, “They’ve abolished ICE without abolishing ICE.”
“The way we’re doing it right now is catastrophic and is a recipe for disaster in the middle of a pandemic,” said Rep. Vicente Gonzalez….“Our party should be concerned. If we go off the rails, it’s going to be bad for us,” Gonzalez said. “Biden is going to be dealing with a minority in Congress if he continues down some of these paths.”
“Texas Rep. Henry Cuellar said he’s been raising concerns since before Election Day that sudden moves reversing Trump’s approach would result in an increased number of migrants at the border.”
