Oregon Families Suffer as DeFazio and Schrader Stay Silent

Continued school closures aren’t only causing students to fall behind, but many parents are being forced to leave the workforce to take care of their kids.

The CDC and Dr. Fauci say it’s safe for teachers and children to return to school, but President Biden and Oregon Democrats like Peter DeFazio and Kurt Schrader are caving to the demands of their big donors and letting teachers unions stall the reopening process in Oregon.

In the meantime, Oregon families are suffering.

One Oregon mother named Glenda wrote, “My 4 year old has autism, and he did NOT receive the services at all last spring. Just 3 emails.”

It’s time for DeFazio and Schrader to speak up for Oregon’s struggling families, follow the science, and get schools reopened.
