Do House Democrats think voters are stupid?

Politico reported last night that House Democrats added some “changes” to HR 1 that could help vulnerable Democrats defend the bill, but the changes don’t actually change anything.

The only noteworthy change is the amount of money Democrats are trying to give their campaigns has increased from $5 million to $7.2 million.
