Washington State Families Protest School Closures As Schrier Stays Silent
March 5, 2021
Washington State parents and children are “done being patient” with their state’s failures to get schools reopened.
While teachers’ unions are preventing children from returning to the classroom, families are protesting.
One fed-up parent, Janelle said, “I can’t tell you how many hugs I’ve given and how many tears I’ve wiped. I never thought I’d have to advocate for my child to go to school.”
Instead of standing with these families, Kim Schrier is staying silent on the union holdups – likely to avoid crossing her special interest donors.
