Pappas’ support for HR1 will hurt the Granite State
New Hampshire Secretary of State Bill Gardner is testifying on voter rights and restrictions before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee today.
Gardner – a Democrat himself – has been a vocal opponent of Democrats’ HR1 bill that “takes away the constitution of the state,” jeopardizing New Hampshire’s first-in-the-nation primary status.
Gardner’s opening statement to the committee condemns the “federal intrusion into the election process of the individual states” because it “will damage voter confidence, diminish the importance of Election Day itself and ultimately result in lower voter turnout.”
Chris Pappas voted for HR1 despite its negative impact on the Granite State.
Did Pappas even read the bill, or was he just blindly doing Nancy Pelosi’s bidding once again?
