Garamendi, Porter and Levin sign onto Green New Deal

John Garamendi, Katie Porter and Mike Levin just signed on as original cosponsors of avowed socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s latest Green New Deal bill. 

The Green New Deal will: 

• Kill 730,600 California jobs
• Raise energy bills $290 a month
• Cost American families $65,000 in taxes each year

Meanwhile, California is still reeling from 2.7 million jobs lost during the pandemic, and lags behind the nation in job growth.
