Porter votes to block House from considering her own bill

Earlier this month, Katie Porter told the Orange County Register that, “standing up to hate crimes is not a joke to me.”

But, Katie Porter just voted to block the House of Representatives from considering her own resolution condemning violence in the AAPI community.

No joke. Katie Porter voted to block the House from considering her own bill.

Why would Porter do that? Especially since she says, “partisan games are destructive.”
